About the Amazing Grace Running Scared 5K Run and Walk
The course starts near the stadium, winds through a cemetery, and comes back out, finishing on the stadium track. It is flat and fast, and the Halloween timing means a good portion of the field shows up in costume. The whole thing runs after dark, which makes the cemetery stretch feel exactly as spooky as it sounds.
The post-race party runs inside and outside of the fieldhouse near the finish. There is food from sponsors, a costume contest, a beer garden, music, and a fire outside for anyone who wants to stay warm. Results go up at the party before they post online.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Amazing Grace Running Scared 5K Run and Walk has been held every year since at least 2014. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
