About the 12Ks of Christmas Run and Walk
The race runs through Sharon Woods, a metro park with enough rolling terrain to make the course feel genuinely challenging rather than just scenic. The holiday theme is worn literally, with ugly sweaters and jackets encouraged, and giant inflatable holiday figures set up along the course for photos. Several distance options mean the morning works for serious runners and kids alike.
Hot chocolate and snacks are waiting at the finish. The park offers free parking, so you can skip the usual scramble for a spot. Race photos and finish-line video are included, so you do not need to worry about handing your phone to a stranger mid-race.
