About the Thankful 4

The race starts and finishes at Sharecroppers Coffee and Creamery, a local shop in Snead that serves espresso, breakfast, lunch, and ice cream. The course winds through country scenery and runs easy, without any serious climbing. Proceeds go toward a shoe scholarship fund for cross-country and track students in the area.

After you finish, the shop is open and worth hanging around. There are thankful boards where runners write what they are grateful for, and a photo booth set up near the start area. Chip timing is used, and the post-race scene stays close to the coffee counter.
