About the Texas City Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, & Mile
The course goes out along the Texas City Dike, a narrow strip of road over Galveston Bay, then turns back the same way before looping through a park to the finish. The dike section is fully closed to traffic, so you have the whole road to yourself with open water on both sides for most of the run. The terrain is flat throughout.
There is food and drinks at the finish, and overall and age group awards are part of the post-race setup as well.
