About the Texas Canyon Trail Run
The course runs entirely on the grounds of a Native American museum and research site in Texas Canyon, winding through open terrain scattered with yucca, ocotillo, and cacti, with the area's signature balancing boulders rising around you. The trails cross open fields between rock formations that are hard to ignore, so most people slow down at some point just to look.
Registration and bib pickup both take place on race morning before the first wave goes out. Dogs and headphones are not allowed on course. After finishing, the museum and its art gallery are open to runners at no extra charge, and food vendors set up near the finish line.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
