About the 5th Annual #TeamTenisa Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Walk Run Roll 5K
The course runs through James Brown Park, and the event is built around remembering Tenisa and drawing attention to Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Runners, walkers, and wheelers all take part together, so the pace on the route is wide open. Games and raffles fill out the morning after the run.
A local BBQ vendor brings food to the finish area, and the organizers ask that you RSVP ahead of time so everyone gets a plate. Trophies are handed out, and the post-race hangout at the park tends to stretch well past the last finisher crossing the line.
