About the TCRR's Twilight Delightfully Different 3.5 Miler
The course is a flat loop around the track at Richard Bland College, so the start and finish are the same spot and the footing is predictable the whole way. It runs in the evening, which keeps the heat manageable and gives the race its twilight character. Children's events run earlier in the evening alongside the main race, so families tend to make a full evening of it.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
