About the 46th Annual Tamarac Turkey Trot 5K
The course is flat and quick, winding through the Woodmont neighborhood on a USATF-certified route. It starts on Pine Island Road, threads through residential streets with several turns, loops back, and finishes at City Hall. The corners keep things interesting, but there are no real hills to worry about.
Packet pickup runs on the few evenings before the race at the Tamarac Community Center, with race-morning pickup available at City Hall starting well before the gun. Parking is behind City Hall, with overflow in the shopping plaza at the nearby corner. Food and refreshments are set up at the finish for all participants.
