About the Tahquamenon Falls to Falls Trail Run
The course runs through the woods on a blazed trail, following the river from the upper falls down to the lower falls, crossing a pedestrian bridge to loop a small island, then turning back the way it came. The terrain is technical, with real elevation changes and roots underfoot, and the trail can be slippery in wet fall conditions. This is not a groomed path.
The start and finish sit near a trailhead just east of a brewery, which serves food and drinks after the race. Packet pickup the evening before is outside under a pavilion on the wooden patio there, with a race-morning option near the start. A park recreation pass is required to enter the area, available at the entrance as a day pass.
