About the 2027 Syracuse Half Marathon
The course winds through Syracuse neighborhoods, starting and finishing at the Oncenter in the heart of downtown. It moves through residential streets and parks before looping back, covering a good mix of terrain. Aid stations are spread throughout, each stocked with water, sports drink, and gels, with portable restrooms nearby.
The post-race party is held at the finish and runs well into the morning. Saranac's new beer is on tap for those of drinking age, and the food spread includes baked ziti with gluten-free options, pizza, and fruit. A live band plays the main stage while you recover.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a big field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The 2027 Syracuse Half Marathon has been held every year since at least 2013. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
