About the Swifty Fun Run - Kansas City
The course runs through Longview Lake Beach park, so there is water nearby for much of the route. Runners are encouraged to show up in costume, and most people do. Music plays at the water stations along the way. The post-race gathering is where people tend to linger, trading stories with other fans.
