About the Swazi 5K

The course starts and finishes on a university campus and winds out through the surrounding residential neighborhoods before returning. The terrain is gentle, the kind you find in a flat midwestern town, and the route brings you back to campus for the finish. The race raises money for health and community work in Eswatini, Africa, so there is a clear purpose behind the morning.

There are pickup windows for packets the evening before and again early on race morning. The campus setting gives the start area a natural gathering point, and awards follow shortly after the main race wraps up.
