The race starts outside a church on the southeast side of Rochester, with walkers and runners heading out on separate staggered starts. The course itself is not described in detail, but the event is built around a charity mission, with all proceeds supporting local residents in need. A pancake breakfast runs in the parish hall during and after the race.
