About the 2027 Superhero Half Marathon and Relay

The race starts and finishes at Ginty Field in Morristown. Pacers cover a range of target times, so you can find a group near your goal pace and run with them the whole way. Costume prizes are part of the event, and runners do show up dressed for the occasion, which gives the morning a different feel than most half marathons.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at Fleet Feet of Morristown, with race-morning pickup at Ginty Field as a backup. You can collect for friends and family at either location. There is a food truck at the finish with pizza from a local inn.

Common Questions About the 2027 Superhero Half Marathon and Relay

Will I finish last at the 2027 Superhero Half Marathon and Relay?

Almost certainly not. Half the 13.1 Miles field finished slower than 2:05:58, and the last recorded finisher came in around 3:24:43, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the 2027 Superhero Half Marathon and Relay a good first 13.1 Miles?

A field of 746 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 13.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the 2027 Superhero Half Marathon and Relay?

The 13.1 Miles winner ran 1:13:24 while the median finisher took 2:05:58. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
