About the SUPER SUNDAY 5K AND 2K PUP STRUT
The course runs through town, and dogs are welcome on the shorter route, trotting alongside their people on leash. There are no awards for finishing time; the point is the morning itself. A DJ plays at the start area, and water is at the finish line, not on the course. The race goes on in rain or snow.
Doggie donuts are waiting at the finish for the four-legged participants, and there is a post-race treat for the runners too. The whole thing is timed to get you home before the Super Bowl, which the organizers treat as less a coincidence than a plan.
