About the Super Luke 5K and Kids’ Fun Run

The Super Luke 5K is a tribute race held in honor of a young boy who died from a brain tumor, with proceeds going to oncology families at Cook Children's Hospital. Runners are encouraged to show up in superhero or Halloween costumes, and prizes go to the best ones. The mood is warm but the cause behind it is real.

Age division awards cover a wide spread from the youngest runners to the oldest, so competitive runners have something to race for across the field. Check-in opens before the start on race morning.
