About the Sun Marathon - 26.2 - 13.1 - 10K - 5K
The full marathon starts in Veyo and drops most of its elevation on the way down through Gunlock Road, passing the reservoir before following along tribal land into the finish at Gubler Park. Red rock mountains frame the whole run, and the shorter distances do an out-and-back from the finish line along a river stretch. The course is primarily downhill but has enough rolling sections to keep you honest.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at a running store in St. George, with race-morning pickup available at the finish area. The longer distances load buses at Gubler Park before dawn; the shorter distances start later in the morning from the same spot, which makes the finish area the hub for everything.
