About the Summer Trail Fest Ultra 50 Mile, 50K, Half Marathon, & 5 Miler
The race runs through Sleepy Hollow State Park on mostly singletrack trail, shaded and soft underfoot. The terrain stays gentle rather than rugged, though a wet day can bring mud. Longer distances run a couple of loops, so aid stations become familiar by the second time around. Post-race, there is a cookout at the finish with burgers, hot dogs, and sides.
Packet pickup is offered the evening before at the park's north pavilion near the beach area, and again on race morning. Parking is inside the state park, a short drive past the entrance, and a Recreation Passport is required to enter. Runners doing the longer distances are parked close to the loop turnaround, which doubles as a car-access spot mid-race.

The Summer Trail Fest Ultra 50 Mile, 50K, Half Marathon, & 5 Miler has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
