About the Summer's End 5k/10k Trail Run
The course runs through the woods at a retreat center outside of town, and the organizer means it when they say trail. Expect roots, uneven ground, and the kind of shade that makes a late-summer morning bearable. Both distance options stay fully on trail, so there is no pavement to fall back on.
Packet pickup opens at the starting line on race morning and closes before the gun, so there is no need to come the night before. Parking is managed by volunteers on site, and signage leads you in from Ebenezer Road.
