San Leandro, CA
The course runs along a bayside trail with water alongside nearly the whole way. It stays flat throughout, which draws runners aiming for a fast effort as well as those out for a casual morning along the bay. The trail hugs the shoreline closely enough that you rarely lose sight of the water. There are ice cream sandwiches at the finish.
