About the 2027 Suicide Prevention Color Walk/Run
This is a color run tied to suicide prevention awareness, so the atmosphere is purposeful alongside the fun. Students are stationed along the course to throw bursts of colored powder on participants as they pass, and by the end most people are covered in a mix of bright hues. Several distance options mean walkers and runners share the course together.
The event is based on Broadway Street in Center. The cause is front and center throughout, making it feel less like a typical race morning and more like a community gathering with a shared reason to be there.
