About the Sudbury Road Race
Both races start and finish in the parking lot behind a middle school, heading out onto the neighborhood roads surrounding it. The longer course winds through several residential streets before looping back, with a note to use sidewalks along the busier stretches. The shorter out-and-back turns around at a nearby intersection and retraces the same road home.
The race benefits the local historical society and its museum, so the entry fees go toward preservation work in town. Check-in and bib pickup happen the morning of the race, before the first wave goes off.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
