About the Sturgeon Shuffle 10K 5K
The course runs out and back along the Wolf River on County Highway X, so you get the same river views going out as coming back. The road is flat the whole way, and leashed dogs are welcome on the course. The race is named for the spring sturgeon spawning run on the Wolf River, which gives it a local character that shows through.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local bank, with a second window at the middle school on race morning before the start. Both distances begin from the middle school, so the start area is easy to find.
