Vista View Park hosts this race on a flat, partially shaded course. The event draws a competitive field, with prize money awarded across several age and gender categories, and a lead vehicle streams the front of the race live to social media and a large screen at the finish. The awards list is unusually long, covering divisions from Clydesdale and Athena to husband-and-wife teams.

After the main race, the park shifts to a shopping cart relay on a short stretch of pavement, where four-person teams compete for the groceries inside the cart they win. The morning opens with a prayer and the national anthem before the gun goes off.
