About the Stomp Out Soldier Suicide Run/Walk
The course runs on roads through the Blakely Borough Recreation Complex and is flat the whole way. The race is built around a specific cause, supporting veteran suicide prevention, so the atmosphere at the start tends to reflect that, purposeful and personal rather than purely competitive.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local running store. Race-morning registration is also available, closing out shortly before the start. The race is held at a recreation complex, so parking and staging are generally straightforward.
