About the 2026 Stinson Lake 5K Run/Walk
The course runs out and back along Stinson Lake Road, mostly paved, with a short stretch of dirt road at the start and finish. The turnaround is at the public boat ramp, so you get a view of the lake before heading back. It is a fundraiser for the lake's water-quality protection program, and that purpose is woven into the whole morning.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at a community building on the lake, with race-morning pickup available at the beach start. The race starts and finishes at White Mountain Ranch beach on Ranch Road. Sponsors post custom signs along the course, so there is something to read while you run.
