About the STINGER 5K AT THE 180TH

The course runs through an active National Guard base, starting and finishing at a memorial built to honor the attacks that changed the country. From there the route passes fighter jet parking pads and out onto a tarmac, which is not the kind of ground most races cover. Bring a valid photo ID; security screening is required before you get anywhere near the start.

Parking is at the main airport lot, and shuttles run from there to the base. Follow the event parking signs when you arrive. Base members have their own parking arrangements, though spots on base are limited that day.
