About the Sticks & Biscuits Thanksgiving Day 5K
This Thanksgiving morning 5K is organized by the local ice hockey club, which explains the name: sticks come with the sport, and in hockey a biscuit is what you call the puck. The course is certified and flat, with chip timing at both ends. A kids fun run on an adjoining turf field runs alongside the main race, weather allowing.
Packet pickup happens on two evenings before race day at the Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company, with a race-morning option as well. There is post-race food and drink at the finish.

The Sticks & Biscuits Thanksgiving Day 5K has been held every year since at least 2016. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
