About the Steps To Home 5K Run/1-Mile Walk
This is a timed 5K paired with a shorter walk, both held in Downingtown. The race supports a local organization working to end family homelessness in the area, so the field tends to draw people who care about that cause as much as the clock. Awards go to top finishers in the run, and the walk is open to all ages.
Refreshments are available before and after the race. The start area has the feel of a community gathering as much as a race morning, with people connecting around the cause before the gun goes off.
