About the Stepping Out Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

The course runs on the runway and taxiway of Morristown Regional Airport, which makes for an unusually flat stretch of pavement. There are no turns through a neighborhood, no hills, no trail roots. Just open tarmac with a lot of sky around you. It is a strange and memorable setting for a Turkey Trot.

Parking is at a nearby church, and shuttles run between the lot and the airport on race morning. Packet pickup the evening before is at the Stepping Out office, with race-morning pickup available at the church before the shuttles depart.
