About the Stepping for Life 5K
The race runs at the Meade County Fairgrounds in Brandenburg, a familiar local venue that keeps the course accessible and the atmosphere grounded. The event draws runners and walkers alike, and the proceeds go directly to local pregnancy resource centers and related community programs, so the cause is close to home for most people there.
There is no separate pickup the evening before; everything happens on race morning before the gun goes off. The fairgrounds location means parking is generally straightforward, and the start area is easy to find once you arrive.

The Stepping for Life 5K has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
