This race was created in honor of Colleen Ritzer, a young teacher whose family and closest circle built it around the values she lived by. Proceeds support a scholarship fund for local high school seniors who share her passion for teaching and love of family. The event draws people who knew Colleen and people who simply want to show up for something that matters.
