About the Stayin' Alive - Run for Love featuring Jamie's 5K
The race starts and finishes at Wampus Brook Park, where Maple Avenue meets Bedford Road. It benefits a nonprofit that supports local first responders, so the crowd tends to skew toward people who know the cause. After the run, a cider donut festival and carnival take over the park, so the finish area fills up quickly with families and food trucks.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Armonk Fire Department, where you can grab your bib without the race-morning rush. If you go then, the organizers ask that you park in the front lot near the main road so the department can get out if a call comes in. On race day, parking is available along Bedford Road, at the recreation center nearby, and at the elementary school.
