About the Stay Alive 5K & 1 Mile Walk
The race is based at a high school, with the course starting and finishing on the track. It benefits Sub Zero Mission, a local nonprofit that delivers warming gear directly to homeless and veteran homeless residents each winter. There is veteran recognition built into the event, and a raffle runs alongside the race.
Packet pickup is available the afternoon before the race at the Sub Zero Mission office on North Ridge Road. On race day, everything runs out of Riverside High School, where registration and pickup open before the start.
