About the Stag Stampede 5k and Fun Run
The course follows a loop that DCA athletes have used as a training run for years, so the roads are familiar to the school's cross-country crowd. It starts at the playground on campus, runs out on paved roads, picks up a stretch of gravel, and climbs a hill near the end before looping back on a dirt path. The terrain is open and gently rolling.
Post-race refreshments are set up at the finish, organized by the school's parent group. Both the longer race and the shorter fun run return to the same playground, so families waiting at the start are also waiting at the finish. Race-morning registration and bib pickup are available before the start.

The Stag Stampede 5k and Fun Run has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
