About the 15th Annual St Peter Turkey Trot 5K/10K
The course starts and finishes on the school's track, heading out and back on flat country roads. Most of the surface is paved, though runners doing the longer distance hit a stretch of hard-packed gravel. The surroundings are open and rural, and the route is simple to follow. Post-race there are caramel apples, string cheese, and milk at the finish.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the school, opening well before the start. There is no separate pre-race evening pickup, so plan to arrive early. The start area is behind the church, on the track, which gives everyone a clear gathering spot before heading out onto Raucholz Road.
