About the St. Peter Spooktacular 5k & Kids Pumpkin Fun Run
The 5K starts on Main Street in front of a Catholic church and winds through the surrounding neighborhoods, including streets along a commercial road and an older residential plat. The course is mostly flat, with sidewalks throughout. Costumes are encouraged for runners and spectators alike, and the kids fun run follows the main race with a short loop around the block.
The race benefits the students of the parish school, so the atmosphere around the start and finish reflects that connection to the local community. The start on Main Street puts you close to the center of town.
