About the St Patrick's Day 5K Run/Walk
The course winds through the streets of Saint Henry, starting and finishing at the American Legion Hall. It is an early-season road race with a village feel, the kind of route where you are passing storefronts and neighbors rather than trails or parks. There is a prize for the best-dressed runner, and a mid-pack finisher award, which keeps things interesting across the whole field.
Post-race, the party at the American Legion is the draw: green beer, food, and then the St. Patrick's Day Parade rolling through town. If you are coming from out of the area, it is worth building the whole afternoon around it.
