The route runs through Tyler's Azalea District, a residential area known for its tree-lined streets. The course is a road run through the neighborhood, so expect pavement throughout. It is connected to Good Shepherd School, and the Advent season timing gives the morning a distinctly holiday feel without being a timed-performance event.
