About the St. John Applefest Road Race
The course runs entirely on paved roads through Fenton, starting and finishing at St. John Catholic Church. It is a classic road race setup, flat on local streets, with a mile marker course and chip timing. Runners doing the longer distance complete a couple of loops, so the start area comes back around before the finish.
Packet pickup is available on the two evenings before the race at St. John Catholic School, a short distance from the start. Race-morning pickup opens at the church itself, next to the Parish Office. After the race, there is a pancake breakfast on site, followed by the Applefest festival, with awards handed out before the festivities continue.
