About the St Agnes 5K Walk-Run for Life

This is a walk-run event organized out of a local parish in Naples, with a pro-life message at its center and a healthy-living spirit running alongside it. The course is a standard road distance, open to walkers and runners together. The atmosphere is shaped by the church community behind it, and participants can create personal fundraising pages for the causes the event supports.

After the race, the parish center hosts a continental breakfast, so there is a reason to stick around. Day-of registration opens early in the morning, well before the start, if you did not get around to registering ahead of time.

Common Questions About the St Agnes 5K Walk-Run for Life

Will I finish last at the St Agnes 5K Walk-Run for Life?

Almost certainly not. Half the 5K field finished slower than 42:47, and the last recorded finisher came in around 59:26, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the St Agnes 5K Walk-Run for Life a good first 5K?

It is a small race (131 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 5K, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the St Agnes 5K Walk-Run for Life?

The 5K winner ran 19:01 while the median finisher took 42:47. That spread points to a broad, mostly recreational field rather than a race dominated by club runners.
