About the SSW Running Club Club Challenge 5k
The course runs through Yankee Woods, a wooded preserve in Tinley Park, so expect trail conditions rather than road pavement. The race is structured around a club team format, with groups competing by division, but unattached runners can enter on their own. Awards are spread across a wide range of age groups.
After the race, the awards ceremony moves to a restaurant in Oak Forest, where runners can pick up a free appetizer. The start and finish are both at the preserve, near the intersection of a main avenue and a local road.

The SSW Running Club Club Challenge 5k has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
