About the SSR 5k- Fall Series #3 "Turkey Trot"
This is part of the Socorro Striders and Riders fall series, themed as a turkey trot. The race starts at the City of Socorro Rodeo and Sports Complex, and proceeds go toward the Socorro Storehouse, a local emergency food pantry. Runners who cannot make it in person can participate virtually by running from their own location and submitting a time.
Race-morning registration is available at the complex, so you can decide to show up without signing up ahead of time. A virtual option is also open if you want to run on your own and still have your effort count toward the series.
