About the 2026 Sprint for Spina Bifida
The Sprint for Spina Bifida takes place at Greenfield Park, which has a playground and open green space that shape the whole morning. Participants choose between a shorter or longer walk and roll route, so the pace and distance are entirely up to each person or family. The event draws people connected to the spina bifida community, and the crowd reflects that, with a mix of members, families, and supporters.
The morning opens with registration and event bag pickup before the walk departs. A live acoustic duo plays throughout, and there are raffle tables, a fifty-fifty drawing, and refreshments in the park. Families are also encouraged to bring outgrown adaptive footwear and equipment to swap with others at a dedicated table near the start.
