About the Spring Hill Turkey Burn
The course runs the hilly back roads outside of town, mixing gravel, asphalt, and packed surfaces as it winds through the surrounding countryside. It is not a flat route. The hills show up early and keep coming, so the mixed terrain and the elevation together make this one that rewards some preparation. The race starts and finishes at the local high school.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a medical office on Port Royal Road, which gives you a chance to skip the morning rush. Race-morning check-in opens at the same high school where you finish. Food follows the awards ceremony later in the morning, so there is reason to stick around after you cross the line.
