About the Spooky Shuffle - 5k, 10k, Half Marathon
The course runs through Woodley Park, crossing grass, passing through a tunnel under the road, and looping around a lake. Shorter distances turn back from there; longer ones continue to the far side of the park, dipping under a bridge before returning by a different path. The routes share the park with regular visitors, so expect to navigate around dog walkers and families.
Parking is free in the lot off Woodley Ave, with overflow on the street. Packet pickup opens before the first wave goes off. At the finish there are water, electrolytes, and snacks, and a gear check at the registration tent means you can leave a bag while you run.
