About the SPARK & SHINE 5K or 1 MILE RACE 2026
The Spark & Shine raises money for a local ministry that supports people with special needs, including an annual prom in their honor. The race has a chip-timed option alongside a shorter walk-friendly distance, and the start area draws vendors and a post-race spread of snacks and drinks.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the Riverview Plaza in Saint Clair, so there is no separate trip the day before. The plaza setting means parking is straightforward, and the post-race scene with vendors and awards keeps things going well after the last finisher crosses.
