About the Spa Running Festival
The courses run through Hot Springs National Park, so the scenery shifts from Bathhouse Row and the historic downtown strip to mountain trails and summit crossings. The half marathon climbs both Hot Springs Mountain and West Mountain, connecting their peaks in a point-to-point shape that earns its name. The shorter distance stays on flatter ground near the park's edge.
Packet pickup is at the Convention Center, and the start and finish line sits on Convention Boulevard outside a hotel there. After finishing, there are grilled burgers, soup, pizza, and a beer tent in the finish area, along with live music.
