About the Southwest Texas College 42nd Annual Turkey Trot
The course is flat and fast, starting and finishing at the fountain area behind the Administration Building, near the heart of the campus. It is a Thanksgiving-weekend race hosted by the Faculty Association, so the crowd skews college community: staff, students, families. Several distance options mean runners and walkers of any ability share the morning.
Showers are available on site after the race, which is a practical touch worth knowing. Packet pickup and registration close well before race day, so sorting out your entry early matters here.
