About the Southlake Showdown 5K Series Fall Season
The Southlake Showdown runs through a full fall season, with participants meeting weekly at Lake Carillon Park for a traffic-free route through the park. The course is scenic and open to all paces, and the format stays consistent week to week so it is easy to drop in whenever you can make it.
Each week there is a football prediction game layered on top of the run, where you guess the winner and closest combined score of a featured game to earn points across the season. Missing a week does not knock you out, so the standings stay competitive even if your schedule is uneven.
